Now available in two configurations - the original Buffer Retainer Lock and the new Buffer Retainer Lock + Pivot Pin Tool.

Buffer Retainer Lock lets you easily remove and install AR buffer and buffer spring, as well as lock buffer retainer in place so you don`t lose it while the buffer is removed. Especially handy when you are running a flat wire buffer spring, which tend to get stuck on the buffer retainer when inserting or removing.

Buffer Retainer Lock + Pivot Pin Tool in addition to the original function, makes it much easier to install and remove pivot pin spring and detent. No more crawling around the room trying to find the spring that just flew out of your hands :)

Made from durable and chemically resistant material thart won't sratch or mar your equipment. Both are available in standard (v1) and enhanced buffer tube (v2) variants.

How It Works

How to use Buffer Retainer Lock

1. Pull the takedown pin out, align Buffer Retainer Lock on top of the buffer retainer and safety selector.

2. While pushing the buffer in with your thumb, push Buffer Retainer Lock down with the same thumb to depress the buffer retainer.

3. With the other hand push takedown pin in to hold Buffer Retainer Lock in place.

4. Slowly release your thumb that is holding the buffer. If buffer is retained by the Buffer Retainer Lock, rotate buffer to align one of the flattened sides to the bottom.

5. Carefully let the buffer and buffer spring to slide out of the buffer tube.
